Lindsey Jolyn Jackson

Lindsey Jolyn Jackson received extensive dance training from the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles, CA. She studied dance on the scholarship program at the Ailey school, while simultaneously earning her Bachelor of the Arts degree in English from Fordham University.  Lindsey has performed nationally and internationally with multiple contemporary dance companies including Philadanco and Lula Washington Dance, all while earning her Masters in Science in Reading, Writing and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania.  For the past four years, Lindsey can be found leaping as a gazelle, prowling as a lioness and many other characters eight times a week on the award-winning best musical The Lion King on Broadway.

Lindsey was introduced to GYROTONIC® while at the Ailey school in 2006 and was immediately drawn to this specific method of movement. Lindsey teaches GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® and is excited to help others strengthen, stretch and heal their bodies.
